Low-calorie, No Guilt Chocolate Pudding

Everyone likes chocolate right? Well, if you don't, then there is definitely something wrong with you. I always have a little dark chocolate a few times a week. In the case of chocolate, usually the more expensive ones are of better quality. So I stick with brands like Dagoba (HEB has them) or the endangered species brand (can't remember the name but I'll look it up and come back to this section-It is actually 'endangered species'). The other really good brand of chocolate is 'Green and Black' organic chocolate. Once found only at Whole foods they can now be bought at HEB and Central Market.

In addition to the chocolate bars, I also like to make my own version of chocolate pudding (high in protein). Here are the ingredients and it takes all of 2 minutes to put it together.

1 cup of low-fat or non-fat plain yogurt (I make my own yogurt or buy Horizon)
1/2 scoop of protein powder (optional)
1 tbsp cocoa powder
1 packet splenda
1 tbsp almond slices
a handful of blueberries or blackberries

Mix the yogurt, protein powder, cocoa powder and the splenda, then top with the nuts and fruit.

This can be a healthy snack or breakfast. When I use this for breakfast I typically use a full scoop of protein powder to increase calories and protein.
