At the risk of sounding mundane, here is what I have eaten today:
Early breakfast: low-fat milk with a low-carb tortilla and cream cheese.
Later breakfast: two eggs scrambled topped with cottage cheese and coffee
Snack: An apple and a few almonds
Lunch: Fitness pyramid topped with grilled chicken breast (the nuts were pine nuts and cashews)
Afternoon Snack: Protein shake (It's espresso flavored-very delicious)- and a plum and half an apple
Dinner: Will be a veggie plate with broccoli, brussel sprouts, green onions and ground turkey breast cooked in a can of diced tomatoes and plain yogurt
While I cook: I'll snack on carrots and apple slices
Glass of wine with dinner
My rule of thumb: I don't eat anything from a box that claims to lower the cholesterol. Do you really think that Kellogg, Con Agra, Kraft or Post care about our health?
