We are leaving to go to California for a few days... so I am already thinking about what I need to do to make sure I have a daily 2 hour (at least) workout. I have been looking on the internet for various gyms in the area that we are going to be staying at. I have already called them and talked to them. Some gyms, if you are an out-of-towner, will charge you an arm and a leg just for one day. If I have to, I will pay that much money. But I really don't want to, so I will walk in the first morning and see if I can somehow make a deal with one of the managers and will pay full price as the last resort.
As a back-up plan I will also take my kettle bells, dumbbells and resistance bands (yes we are driving) so I can simply walk out side and do some circuit training. A couple of hours of lunges, squats, jump squats, burpees, pushups, biceps curls, shoulder presses, etc.
You see, I am very much looking forward to our vacation; the beach, the zoo, safari, getting out of Texas... but my vacation won't be one for me if I can't workout.
